Humax Freesat Receiver

Enjoy over 200 satellite channels, catch up TV and plenty of smart features with the Humax HB 1000-S. If you don’t have a Freesat receiver built into your TV, look no further than this nifty set top box.

Freesat is an exciting service which gives you the features of subscription services like Sky, without the contract or monthly bills. A Freesat HD receiver like the HB 1000-S works with your new or existing satellite dish to bring you over 200 TV and radio channels plus 11 HD channels.

Explore a world of entertainment, with film, news, music, shopping and kids’ TV channels, as well as digital radio stations and the Red Button’s interactive features.

The best thing about the HB 1000-S is that it offers much more than a standard Freesat box. It comes with the amazing Freetime feature - a TV Guide which lets you roll back through all the shows you’ve missed in the past seven days, across 26 channels.

Take your pick from on demand services like BBC iPlayer, 4oD, Demand 5 and YouTube, which have been neatly compiled into the easy to use TV Guide. Catch up on that episode of your favourite series you missed, or simply find something to watch when nothing on live TV takes your fancy. Let Showcase inspire you with recommendations of top programme picks, and set reminders so you don’t miss the ones which catch your eye.

Freesat HD has channels which support the ultimate in picture and sound quality. Bright colours, sharp detail and realistic audio bring the cinema to your living room. Simply connect with a HDMI cable for a great entertainment experience.

Once your dish installation is complete, you only need to plug in this HD box to start watching. The entire interface is neat, stylish and simple, making it perfect for even the biggest technophobes.

If you’re a fan of your gadgets, you’ll love the Freesat App. It gives you access to the TV guide while on the go, and also lets you turn your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch into a remote control.

The HB 1000-S receiver also supports external hard drives, giving you the option to record live TV. The app can also be paired with your receiver to set it to record while you’re out and about.

Humax and Freesat just made relaxing in front of the TV a lot more exciting. Buy the HB 1000-S HD receiver here.
